Sarah Tradewell
Sarah enjoys sharing her love of fiddling with her students. She has been studying fiddle since she was 8 and is currently attending the University of Victoria, studying music performance. Drawing on her background of lessons from a variety of teachers, Sarah teaches many different styles of music.

Sarah Tradewell is an accomplished young fiddler/singer from Saskatchewan who now calls Victoria home. Along with the fiddle, Sarah also plays viola, piano and trumpet.
Sarah grew up in a musical household, learning music from her family, friends and old-fashioned community music making. Sarah’s performances have received enthusiastic reviews.
Sarah is an active performer in the community and beyond. She has performed in the Western Provinces, at the Red Barn in Cape Breton, Washington, Idaho, and Hawaii. Locally, you can hear her performing at dances, weddings, Craigdarroch Castle and the Irish Times Pub. Sarah enjoys busking on the Inner Harbour Causeway where she has met people from all over the world who have stopped by to enjoy her music. Sarah is the current BC Old Time Fiddling Champion and has been invited to the Canadian Grand Masters Fiddle Championship in Ottawa, Ontario.
She has a large repertoire of music including Celtic, old time, bluegrass and classical, which can be tailored to fit a variety of venues. Sarah is available as a solo artist or with her mother Cheryl on keyboards and vocals. If a larger group is required, Sarah has arranged for other local musicians to be available.
