2015 Greater Victoria Performing Arts Festival – Registration is OPEN!!

REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 12th
 
The fiddle section is scheduled for Saturday, April 30th and will take place at the University of Victoria in the Phillip T. Young Recital Hall.
 
There are many reasons why you should register for “The Greater Victoria Performing Arts Festival” including the many awards and trophies to be won, including up to $1,000 in prize monies. The Victoria Fiddle Society offers two awards, The Frankie Rodgers Award for original composition ($100) and the Oliver Schroer Spirit Award ($100).  In addition, our President Daniel Lapp offers the Leonard Sexsmith Trophy and Award for BC Composer ($100).This is a unique opportunity to perform in a non-threatening, supportive environment for a knowledgeable adjudicator.  This year’s adjudicator is Patrick McGonigle who will provide you with valuable suggestions, including a written adjudication. So don’t wait, register right away!

You can enter any of the many age appropriate categories that range from solo fiddle to twin fiddle, fiddle & accompanist, small or large ensemble, original composition and much more.  Please check the website for full details and to register:  www.gvpaf.org
