VFS Planning Meeting
The Victoria Fiddle Society strives for innovation and engagement. We’re reaching out to you to gather ideas for possible projects, events, or activities. Whether its a specific project, an event concept, or an idea for an ongoing activity, we want to hear from you.
Some ideas might include:
- Playing at events such as the Highland Games, Folk ‘N Fiddle Festival, Saanich Fair, Sidney Parade, etc.
- Workshops (what type of workshops; how much would you want to spend on a workshop, etc.)
- Barn Dance (either VFS or in conjunction with others)
- Block Parties, etc.
- Summer events
- Ideas for improving the monthly Fiddle Jams
We’re also keen on ideas for getting youth involved with the VFS.
Your input is ‘instrumental’ in shaping the future direction the VFS, and together, we can generate exciting ideas that will propel us forward.
Join us for a planning meeting at 6:00 – 6:45 pm, just before the February 2 Fiddle Jam, at Wheeley Hall in the Esquimalt United Church Building (500 Admirals Road). Enter off Lyall Street.
If you can’t make the planning meeting but have ideas or feedback, send them to vfsinfo@gmail.com
