Folk ‘n Fiddle Fest Fundraiser
The Folk n’ Fiddle Festival is proud to present St. Patrick’s Day Celebration and Fund-Raiser SATURDAY, March 16th at the SHOAL Centre. The Reception is at 7:00 PM with the concert beginning at 8:00 PM. The SHOAL Centre is at 10030 Resthaven, Sidney.

WHO’S UP?
The Feature is Victoria-based treasure, Calvin Cairns (www.calvincairns.com) and Charlie Gannon (www.facebook.com/charliegannon) . There’ll be a set from the Victoria School of Irish Dance (www.victoriairishdancers.com), and an appearance from Nellie Quinn (www.facebook.com/nelliedquinn) and Friends. Just added. Denis Donnelly will be bringing his harp. You’d know Denis as the (now retired) co-leader of the Gettin Higher Choir and NOW director of Wavelengths Community Choir and Soundings.The evening will feature plentiful finger foods provided by the SHOAL Centre, a silent auction, and a cash bar.
Watch out for our silent auction. Great items. In addition, we’ll let you know about Clarence Boudreau’s early 1950’s Gibson J45 donated by his estate for the benefit of our Society.
We’ll have a lot of information about Folk ’n Fiddle Fest 2019, how to join our society, to volunteer. In addition, the folks from Sidney LitFest will be in attendance.
